SCF and The MacRobert Trust have opened nominations for the SCF Young Crofter Award. The Award celebrates the achievements of our younger crofters who in all their different ways are creating a future for crofting.
Previous winner, Helen O’Keefe, in Elphin, said “The Young Crofter Award has been a great way to share the message about how important crofting is, especially for our communities”.
Nominations are now open. We want to hear from you, either by nominating someone in your community, or you can enter yourself.
The winner will receive the Young Crofter Quaich, £500 and 1 year’s free SCF Membership. It is open to all young crofters aged 16-40. You can download the nomination form here.
