Federation Urges Crofters To Take Government Loan

Ms Mandeville continued, “The loan offer has been made available to cover for the IT system that has caused so much angst, but our understanding is that the cause of this recent confusion is something else. The error was spotted quickly and officials are rectifying it and will notify those affected. We are told it is completely safe for producers to apply for the loan; regardless of incorrect figures in the letters, they will get the correct amount of money.
