SCF Roadshow – Gairloch

The Scottish Crofting Federation is getting out and about this Spring!

Our first series of events will be through March and May. It will cover a huge area from Shetland to Tiree.

Open to all crofters, these first events will focus on the new Agriculture and Rural Communities Bill – what we know about it so far and what changes we are asking for so that it offers a fairer deal for crofters, and we’d love to know your views and concerns about the future.

We also want to know your views on the SCF – What are we doing well? How can we support you better? What do you want us to do more of?

Finally, we have invited a range of partner organisations to attend, including SGRPID, NatureScot, and the Croft Woodlands Project, and there will be a few providers who are offering discounted or specialist services for crofters such as insurance, financial advice, consultancy, etc.

So, come and have a cuppa, cake and a chat with us, the organisations attending and other crofters in your area.
We can’t cover everywhere this time around, but more events will be planned for later in the year.
