Scottish Crofting Federation welcomes croft relets and urges more to be done

The Scottish Crofting Federation (SCF) has welcomed the Crofting Commission’s announcement that five croft tenancies have been relet to new tenants, and that a further five are shortly also to have new tenants. Read more .......

YOUNG CROFTER RATE - NOW EXTENDED TO AGED 40 & UNDER

At the recent SCF Board meeting it was agreed that the young crofter rate of £31.50 would be extended to those aged 40 and under. If you know a “young crofter” who is not a member please pass on this news. The future of crofting is dependent on young crofters and as the only organisation solely dedicated to campaigning for crofters and fighting for the future of crofting, now is the time for young crofters to join.

The Scottish Crofting Federation invites you to its first Ullapool Crofting Surgery for SCF members and drop in session for new members

Place: SCF Office, Unit 1a Latheron Lane (above the old Hydro Shop), Ullapool

Time: from 10.30 – 12noon members and new members welcome, surgery from 12 noon to 2.30pm

Our popular notecards, sold on the Scottish Crofting Enterprise website are running out. The new cards will feature images that reflect the crofting way of life.
