Couple offering seeking work experience for 4 weeks in summer

Hi,
me (Gavan) and my girlfriend Isla are looking for a work placement for Isla’s university course. I will be volunteering too as i love projects and fixing things and really like scotland.
We would ideally like to find a croft to work out on the Outer Hebrides as this is are favourite place.

im writing this in a rush as she only has a few days until she needs to confirm her work placement or she will have to do another module though we have discussed it and think we would like to do it even if she doesnt sort it out before the deadline.

anyway heres are information

We are looking to do 4 weeks work between july and mid september for our work placements and experience.

We would like to spend the time somewhere in the Scottish highlands as we have spent the past few summers there and Love the place.

Skills:-
Gavan- generally handy with any tool, pref woodwork, experienced with many animals, love projects and environmentally friendly things.

Isla- enjoys doing gardening, would like to learn more practical skills and is up for most things. Very interested in conservation and environmental work.

Current Location:-
Gavan- Bangor University, Zoology with Animal Behaviour
Isla- Bangor University, Geography

Hobbies/Interests:
Bird watching
Mountain biking
Fishing
Wildlife watching

Self References:
Gavan- I have done volunteer work for the Forest of Dean Lions group. I also live in a Home with a 3 acre garden which my family has been landscaping for several years so I can do many things from making and erecting wooden greenhouse frames/sheds to dry stone walling, cement stone walling, concrete block laying, rendering and general manual labour.

Isla- has done volunteer work for the Forest of Dean Lions group. Gardening and veg planting.

I though everyone is scotland was desperate to promote crofting ?????????????

how come there isnt anyone who will have two happy volunteers ready to get there hands dirty help you out and learn in the process

We have now missed the deadline for my workplacement so we wont be doing crofting this summer, though i believe i can do a work placement next summer so if you have read this too late but would like help next year feel free to give me an email.
