Hi All,
I live in a crofting township that is an open township (no fences) from the hill grazings. A week ago the local estate managers son killed a calf of mine and is now stating that I’m to blame soley, and his insurance company is stating this as well. The person who hit the calf was travelling to a coastgaurd call and was whitnessed driving in accessive speeds in the weather conditions. He claims that the cow stepped onto the single track road, but his lying. As the damage to his pickup, and calf does not correspond to his claim.
I cannot afford a solicitor.
Can someone shed any advice on this I will be most thankful
