Bluetongue Vaccination Meetings

As you will be aware, a compulsory vaccination programme against bluetongue BTV8 commenced in Scotland on Monday 3 November 2008.

A series of bluetongue information meetings will take place across Scotland to provide information for animal keepers about the BTV8 vaccine, the compulsory BTV8 vaccination campaign and to offer the opportunity to have your questions answered directly by representatives from the Scottish Government, Merial Animal Health Ltd and the farming industry.

The purpose of these meetings are to provide the information you require to manage the vaccination of your livestock as efficiently and effectively as possible.

All meetings start at 19:30 hrs, will last approximately 2 hours. for a list of venues please see attachment.
